  I have had good and bad service here, but overall the store is a good one. Staff are "typical Bunnings" and could do with a bit more customer service training !

  Several customers behind us had to wait while this was happening as hubby was blocking the exit. Nearly two hours (cumulative total) of customers time wasted so one little staff member could feel important.

  That was our third visit to Bunnings Bethania last week with many visits prior and he has never been asked to open tool boxes before. We have no issue with them inspecting the tool boxes, but there is a terrible lack of consistency. Had he known, he would have got her to look prior to loading up. She and the supervisor insisted that it was company policy and staff member was doing her job properly, no 'sorry for the inconvenience'. Perhaps staff on the exit gate should not be so lazy and walk over to vehicles prior to people loading up large items, if they need to check tool boxes.

  Attempted to buy a mower and whipper snipper from here today. Asked multiple different staff members for assistance, was promised multiple times that someone including the manager would assist. We waited and no one came. Waste of time. My advice is go over the road to Bethania mowers on high street where they actually care about their customers and know the products they're selling. This experience gave me a real eye opener to supporting local businesses. Extremely dissapointed in Bunnings, considering we were intending on spending over $700.

  Went through Trade Centre, parked the second spot from the exit. Staff member on exit gate saw my husband tie the door we purchased onto the back of the ute. Went to exit and the same staff member insisted that the door be untied and unloaded so she could look in the tool boxes. At no time since entering had the tool boxes been even been opened. After hubby went to the effort of unloading, she took a very quick GLANCE into the tool boxes. Nope, nothing to find in there as she already knew. Needles to say, my husband was irate.
